Tesamorelin and Egrifta: Related sequences, different products

Tesamorelin is a stabilized growth-hormone-releasing hormone analogue. In 2010, FDA approved it as Egrifta for a narrow indication: reducing excess abdominal fat in HIV-infected adults with lipodystrophy.
